Exmoor Canoe Club was formed in November 2004 and started off primarily as an informal meet & greet service for paddlers in the Exmoor area. Using the ECC message board, local trips down the Upper and Lower Barle were organsied and so the club was born.

The club is now open for membership and a calendar of events is organised every year for the complete beginner to more experienced padders.

If you've never tried canoeing before we recommend you join and come along on one of the BCU 1 Star courses designed for the complete beginner, or a summer evening paddle.
